Frequently Asked Questions

1) How do you pronounce MarReed?

We are Happily MarReed, pronounced as 'Happily Married,' because we are the Reeds and we are Happily MarReed!

2) What is the difference between a Wedding Planner and a Coordinator?

A Wedding Coordinator ensures your rehearsal and special day run smoothly from start to finish. Typically they are there for you in the final 6-8 weeks leading up to your wedding to finalize your timeline, layout, decor list, and vendor management.

A Wedding Planner is an integral part of the wedding planning process from the moment they are hired, to the end of your reception. From creating a budget, to selecting your wedding vendors and venue, they will keep you on track throughout the entire engagement!

3) Do you plan/coordinate events other than weddings?

Yes we do! Please reach out to us for custom pricing!

4) What is the difference between a Wedding Planner and a Certified Wedding Planner?

Certified Wedding Planners have taken the extra steps to get educated on all aspects of weddings. They have a passion for the industry, continuing their education, and the importance of working with other wedding professionals. They have been trained to take on any challenge throughout the wedding planning process and are prepared to make your wedding dreams come true!

5) What does your deposit entail?

We typically require an initial payment that is equal to 50% of your wedding package.

6) What is the significance of your logo?

In Paris, in front of the Eiffel Tower on the Trocadero bridge is where our love story was established. In December of 2018, Joseph proposed to me, to my utter surprise. Paris and the Eiffel Tower will forever hold a special place in our hearts. Our wedding was Paris themed and we even rented an Eiffel Tower replica!
